Theo at the beach (Durdle Door, Dorset)

And here we are at the seaside in 2011. This is the beach at Durdle Door. It is a beautiful spot, with local history steeped in smuggling and piracy (see: Moonfleet). Due to the high cliffs and natural barriers, we found that this beach was entirely enclosed with only one entrance in and out. This allowed us to let Theo run around off-lead, and splash in the waves. Although he’s been the beach many times, he doesn’t find it that interesting. He tends to run to cover and prefers the grasses, and if he can find it, the woodland and trees. In this photo, you can see him in full bright sunshine which makes his coat “glow” with that warm, honey colour we love 🙂
